Improving efficiency of PV systems is key in making solar energy more financially attractive. SLW addresses major problems in current solar PV technology: mismatch at the cell/panel level, panel losses, limited energy density, energy derating, PV panel restricted lifespan. SLW technology provides significantly higher enery yield over system lifespan by avoiding the mismatch as well as by maximizing energy yield of every panel, every string and the system in its entirety. The main alternatives to the SLW solution are conventional PV systems and optimized PV systems.
