Maximilian Strotmann is a member of the private office and communication adviser of Andrus Ansip, European Commission Vice-President in charge of the Digital Single Market. His main areas of responsibility in Mr Ansip’s team are e-government, digital industrialisation, interoperability and startups.

Working for the Commission since 1997, Max could look into quite a range of interesting stuff: tourism and enterprise policies, audit and anti-fraud issues first; later communication and institutional IT issues as well as maritime transport, logistics and intelligent transport systems.

Max studied a helpful mix of sociology, psychology and economic and social policies at Augsburg University (Germany). The 1989 fall of the Berlin wall was a unique opportunity to expand his university studies with extensive trips around central and Eastern Europe, into Europe’s political, historical, economic, cultural past and present without borders. Max is a happy father of one and feels married.

Milton Cohen-Henríquez S. Presently, Panamanian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and former Minister of Government (Interior) of Panama during 2014 to 2017 and member of the National Assembly between 1990-1994. Where Mr. Cohen-Henríquez presented and got approved of the Civil Service Law in Panama, as well as promoted the creation of the Office of the Ombudsman.

Sustains vast experience within panama´s political and social realm. Bearing an MBA in Law & Political Science from Universidad Santa María La Antigua, Panama (1992), that furthermore bestowed him the post as Director before several Authorities such as Transportation, Civil Aviation and Passports of Panama. Married to a renowned journalist Alexandra Ciniglio and father to five children, Milton, Alejandro, Ana Esther, Victoria and Emmanuel. A leader and active participant within the Popular Party of Panama (formerly Christian Democratic Party), wherein he was reelected it´s President after the successful 2014 general elections, a post he has occupied ever since the year 2009 to present.

Result oriented in Panama’s sensitive social matters and hence commissioned as Project Director the UN Sponsored Improvement of the National Penitentiary System Project since 2002 to 2005; he also headed the “Yes vote” committee for the National Referendum to Expand the Panama Canal in 2006 and the Civil Services Appears Committee (1995 – 1997). Throughout of his career he has held several important posts within the media including the press, T.V. and radio, such as: Deputy Director of the newspaper “El Panama-America” (2003 – 2005); Director of the daily newspaper “El Universal” (1997 – 1998); News Services Manager at RPC T.V. and radio (1995 – 1996); Director an Anchor of the TV show “Perspectiva” (1994-1996); currently anchor and joint owner of the radio program known as Info-Analysis since 2005 to date.

He also presided in the National Assembly the committees of Commerce, Industry and Economic Affairs (1992-1993); as well as the Budget Council (1990-1992).
