Today, consumers have no simple and fast method to check the ingredients and contaminants of food they are buying. The solution is the patented and proprietary Senorics technology.

It measures the unique “optical fingerprint” of substances by detecting their specific absorption characteristics in the NIR wavelength range: with a unique, small, accurate and low-cost sensor technology.

Competing technologies are either too expensive (InGaAs) or not accurate enough (Si). An evaluation kit is ready and already used by industrial customers needing Senorics’ technology for niche applications.

Senorics raised a 150k€ pre-seed round and is seeking a seed round of 3.5 m€. Investment is needed for developing first consumer products and market entry.
